Iran is toying with Trump

Sure, Iran is getting pummeled night after night by Trump, but they don’t really much seem to care. We were told repeatedly by Trump and Hegseth that Iran’s military had been obliterated, but that lie has been exposed. Iran keeps attacking U.S. bases, cargo ships and its own neighbors, seemingly at will. And Iran knows that Trump is in an impossible position, having begun this war that’s causing energy prices to spike and markets to drop globally and he cannot find a way to extricate himself. They’re mocking Trump at this point and it’s driving him nuts. According to the Wall Street Journal, he went on an expletive-laden rant about his frustrations with Iran in a recent Oval Office meeting. This war is extremely unpopular here at home, as expressed in recent polls, and if Trump can’t find a way to end this soon, he could cause Republicans to get wiped out in the upcoming midterm elections. Then he won’t have his GOP flunkies in Congress to protect him anymore.
