Unless Congress acts quickly, it's about to hit the fan and Trump doesn't care
In just a few weeks, health care premiums are set to skyrocket for 24 million Americans because of expiring Obamacare tax credits and Trump could not possibly care less, except how it might affect his power base. Trump promised to lower costs for Americans on everything on Day One, yet his policies have only served to squeeze Americans already barely getting by. There is no plan to lower costs. None. He thinks “affordability” is a new word and “groceries” is an old-fashioned one. He simply has no clue and worse, no empathy for those suffering. In his twisted little brain, it’s all just a scheme to make him look bad. He’s doing a good job of that all by himself.
