Gas prices are spiking with no end in sight
Yesterday, for the first time ever in my life, I saw gas prices over $4 a gallon. Yes, I know prices are routinely higher in places like California. But, this wasn’t California. This was the Southeast. It has never happened here to my knowledge. The highest price I saw previously was $3.89 a gallon when I lived in Augusta, Georgia during the energy crisis in the summer of 2008. The national average gas price today is $4.30 a gallon! And these current outrageous prices — which will cost the prices of everything to rise — are the fault of one man and one man alone: Donald Trump. His ill-planned war of choice in Iran is causing a global energy catastrophe due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. ONE man on the entire planet is causing ALL of this pain and suffering! And there’s no end in sight. There’s no plan to end this, so it will most likely only get worse for the foreseeable future.
